100 Black Men to Honor PGA of America’s Jeff Price at Prestigious 46th Annual Gala

The 100 Black Men organization will host its 46th Annual Gala on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Pier Sixty, Chelsea Piers, in New York City. Themed “Champions of Change – Leaders in Business, Wealth & Excellence,” the event will recognize influential figures making a significant impact in their communities.

Honorees include the Honorable Charles B. Rangel, retired U.S. Congressman; Jeff Price, Chief Commercial Officer of PGA of America; Michelle Stoddard, Senior Vice President of Resorts World; and Greg Shell, Partner at Goldman Sachs. These individuals have demonstrated leadership, innovation, and dedication to uplifting and empowering others.

Price, an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of delivering results as a leader of teams in the sports industry, is a strong business development professional skilled in Digital and Social Strategy, Sponsorship Sales and Management, Brand Marketing, Media Partnerships, Philanthropy and Content Strategy. Price, former president and publisher of Sporting News, also served as president of SI Digital and head of sponsorships for MasterCard. He was began his role as Chief Commercial Officer of the PGA of America on Aug. 1, 2014 and was initially based at PGA headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, reporting directly to then PGA CEO Pete Bevacqua.

In his role Price oversees the primary commercial areas of the organization, including media, sponsorship, merchandising, marketing/communications and international.

While at the helm of Sporting News from 2010 to 2013, Price drove the digital transformation of the iconic brand. His efforts culminated in Sporting News’ joint venture with London’ Perform PLC, to form Sporting News Media, the largest digital sports video company in the United States last year. Additionally, this was not Price’s first term in the golf industry, having relaunched Golf.com during his time at Sports Illustrated and overseeing golf sponsorships while at MasterCard. An avid golfer, Price received his M.S. from the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sports Management at the University of Massachusetts and earned his B.A. at Bates College.

In the past year, 100 Black Men has mentored more than 500 at-risk youth, distributed over 10,000 holiday meals, and provided grant support to hundreds of small businesses. Every dollar raised from the gala contributes to scholarships, mentoring programs, food security initiatives, health and wellness efforts, economic empowerment, and the organization’s operations.
