It was a great day for all who attended the 14th Annual Doug Boyd Charity Golf Tournament on April 2 at River Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh, NC. The competitive event benefitted the Doug Boyd Foundation while enjoying its largest attendance in the 14 years of hosting the tournament.
Golfers new and old turned out in support of the outing to raise money and awareness about minority education, scholarships and golf participation. A festive awards ceremony and banquet followed Immediately after the shotgun match and attendees continued to mingle while celebrating winners.

About The Doug Bout Foundation
Our mission is to provide financial assistance for scholarships, camps, and other educational activities for youth within our area communities. We also help to provide youth with leadership training and professional development support. The Doug Boyd Foundation, Inc. was founded in 2007, in that same year, two high school seniors were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship. With the help of support, through 2022 the foundation has provided aspiring youth with approximately 86,000 in college scholarships, grants and other financial assistance for their educational development.
