The TaylorMade Junior Open, presented by PGA TOUR Superstore, will take place April 18–19, 2026, at The Courses at Watters Creek – Traditions in Plano, Texas. This premier junior golf championship continues to attract top young talent from across the country and beyond, offering a highly competitive stage for rising stars in the game.
The event holds multiple prestigious rankings, including AJGA Performance Based Entry (PBE) status, along with recognition by Golfweek, Junior Golf Scoreboard, and Global Junior Golf. These rankings make the tournament an important opportunity for junior golfers looking to strengthen their competitive resumes while gaining national and international exposure. Registration is almost full, according to the organization’s media release.
Adding to the tournament’s significance, the TaylorMade Junior Open also serves as a qualifying event for the Uswing Junior World Championship, formerly known as the IMG Academy Junior World Championship. Champions in each age division will earn an exemption into the Uswing Junior World event held in California, one of the most respected junior golf championships in the world.
