Due to the bleak circumstances, most kids see no way of survival thus finding solace in gangs and crime as a means to an end. Willie Mack III, one of the most decorated golfers at the mini-tour level, has dominated every stage of the game. Proved himself as one of the best junior players in the country on numerous occasions, including a win on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) tour.
Before turning professional, Mack (pictured left) led the Bethune Cookman Wildcats with over 11 individual victories. While at Bethune he stamped his mark in Michigan golf history by winning the Michigan State Amateur Championship. Getting off to a strong professional start, Willie has won 13 tournaments and it is becoming more and more usual to see his name on leaderboards.
