Relive the life and times of African American PGA Instructor Ted Contee who has been involved in golf for 62-years. Contee left employment with the Federal Government to be involved as a pro in the golf industry. Today he teaches at the East Potomac Golf Course in Washington, D.C. and, has seen quite a bit of things that have happened during his time surrounding the game, diversity, competition and golfing organizations.
Listen as Contee talks with interviewer Lorenzo Hobbs and recounts his experiences of working in the professional ranks and of enjoying relaxing rounds with fellow avid golfers, where he has touched innumerable lives with his devotion to the game.
