Zion Lateef Williamson may turn heads on the basketball court, but as a golfer—well, he is still learning how to keep his eye on the ball. The professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association left no doubt in the minds of those who spotted him at a Los Angeles driving range this summer. But as golfers, we’ve all been there, one time or another, when we first struggled to learn to play this game we have come to love so much. And some of us are still struggling.
The 6’7″, 280 lb. consensus No. 1 pick in June 20th’s NBA Draft was caught on video hitting a driver wildly on the range, giving golfers everywhere the knowledge that they can beat Williamson at something. But, when it comes to basketball, he’s definitely got the winning edge.
