Technology is all shapes and forms is continuing to change the face of golf, for instance, drones now deliver food orders directly to golfers at Michael Jordan’s Grove XXI course. Getting in on the techno-wave is Disney, where now, new Robo-Carts follow golfers around the course (like a caddy) with clubs in tow. No more heavy-lifting by carrying your bags anymore, these robots are at your assistance, via a clipped transmitter sensor worn by the golfer on their belts.
Guided by GPS, the Robo-Carts are guided by GPS which keeps them on-course and out of ponds or sand traps. Each unit is self-propelled and motorized to follow golfers as they walk the course, rolling a few steps behind using Bluetooth technology.
For add even more convenience, the Robo-Cart is designed to carry beverages with a cup holder along with a sand bottle, and a USB port to charge your mobile devices while you play your round.

Disney knows that walking around an 18-hole golf course while toting a bag of clubs and accessories can be tiring, as well as pushing a cart, so they hope their new Robo-Cart will ease the weariness of golfers who visit their Disney World Resort golf courses, nicknamed “The Happiest Place on Turf.”
WHAT’S THE COST TO GOLFERS
Disney tested the Robo-Carts a few months ago, and it seems that all went well, as they have now officially announced their availability. The Robo-Carts rent for only $10 and are available only at the Palm, Magnolia, and Oak Trail courses at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
