Golf is going digital quicker than almost any other sport and SensoGlove is right on top of the digital trends. SensoGlove is the world’s first digital golf glove.
This latest golf glove by SensoGlove provides real-time audio feedback, something that is awesome when you hear it talk to you. Visual feedback is available immediately using the glove, but come after the swing and shows up on the screen, at 80 times per second. The glove also shows you exactly which fingers you are using to grip the club, displaying those which are gripping more tightly than others. The glove features and “automatic sensitivity selection” button to provide more accurate pressure reading for a consistently smooth and powerful golf swing providing greater distance and lower scores.
You could also go as far as to say the glove works as a Personal Golf Trainer, helping you to avoid bad habits.
What we like best about SensoGlove is that it has been designed on feedback from international PGA professionals. The company also places a high priority on excellence and, is the glove is made of the highest quality cabretta leather. The glove is available in both right and left hand models, for men and women, and comes in sizes small to X-large.
In this advanced version of the world’s first digital golf glove, getting is relatively simple. Once you have the glove on, just press the power button. An option appears and you can select a generic, automatic grip pressure or an “individual pressure profile.”
Easy instructions guide you through the functions for selecting different amounts of pressure for certain fingers. Fit-wise, you may have a few challenges about the feel. It’s a little bulky, but you can get used to it, once you know why: There are sensors situated towards the fingertips and they feel like tiny sponges, on the four fingers just between your skin and the glove itself. The thumb has no sensor. There is a lightweight LED monitor that is virtually unnoticeable during your swing.
Performance and use of the glove is pretty accurate—once you’ve established the “proper” grip pressure. The SensoGlove works well and is very receptive, supplying high-pitched beeps that function as an alarm are both attention-grabbing.
Also, when the designated grip pressure is more than enough, the glove will ‘beep’ at the precise point in the swing. Sort of like the new automobile vehicles do when you’re driving and stray out of your lane. This is a ‘warning’ or ‘violation’ by SensoGlove to the wearer.
Smart and classic. SensoGlove has really hit the mark with this new addition to its line.
