A Message of Gratitude, Healing, and Hope From Coach Gladys Lee

Ladies from the Women Clinic’s and DFW Fairway Divas who met Coach Gladys Lee at Take Care Rehab. They also came to show their love and support when Coach Lee was transported to the Life Care Rehab Center, “I thought it was so cute and thoughtful to wear their DFW Fairway Divas Purple uniform shirts,” said the coach. I’m not sure if you know about my current situation. On New Year’s Day, I was admitted to Texas Health Memorial Hospital with congestive heart failure. I spent time in two levels of ICU at Texas Health Memorial Hospital from New Year’s Day until Saturday, January 17. When I was released, I was transported to Life Care Rehab Center in Haltom City, north of Fort Worth. The combined total of my hospital and rehab stay was 28 days.

All the flowers, visits, phone calls, texts, emails, prayers, support, and love from everyone locally, nationally, and abroad have truly shown me what God’s mercy, grace, and love feel and look like. My family and I sincerely appreciate and thank everyone!

Tomorrow, January 28, all praise and glory to God, I will be discharged from Life Care and return home. I will receive home care with physical therapy to help me regain my strength and get back to operating independently. God is soooo good, and I’ll be back sooner than later!

On another note, sincere thanks to Mr. Parrish for giving Kendall Jackson, Kennedi Lee, Makalia Brown, and April McCoy the opportunity to showcase their professional golf talents on the 5th Annual Parrish Celebrity Golf Tournament in 2025. These young ladies are making us all very proud!

In the next few weeks, when I’m stronger and feeling closer to par, I will send a report to you and Mr. Parrish on how well the young ladies are doing. Your investment was not in vain—they are shining! You will be proud!
