The Advocates Professional Golf Association Tour will host its 12th event of 2025, the APGA at TPC Las Vegas, from September 22 to 24. This tournament marks the first of three competitions in the APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series, offering a $25,000 purse, with $7,500 awarded to the winner. Forty players will compete for 500 points toward the Jeff Dailey Standings, with tournament week beginning on September 22 with practice rounds, followed by two days of official play.
The field features many of the APGA Tour’s top names. Among them are Wyatt Worthington II, a three-time APGA champion and four-time PGA Championship competitor who won the event in 2023; Chase Johnson, a two-time APGA Player of the Year and 2025 U.S. Open participant; and Willie Mack III, the winningest active APGA golfer with 15 titles. Rising talents like Marcus Mullins, a Las Vegas native, and Jonathan Yoshihiro, the most recent Mastercard Tour Championship winner, will also compete. Other notable participants include Luis Gagne, John-Baptiste Hakizimana, Kamaiu Johnson, Kevin Hall, Troy Taylor II, Gregory Odom Jr., Jaime Lopez Rivarola, Aaron Beverly, Michael Bradham, Brian Ohr, and Everett Whiten Jr.
The APGA, founded in 2010, is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in golf. Beyond professional tournaments, the APGA operates programs that provide young golfers from underrepresented communities with access to lessons, equipment, scholarships, and opportunities to pursue professional careers.
The APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series is a pivotal part of the season, as players strive to accumulate Jeff Dailey Standings points. Named after former Farmers Insurance CEO Jeff Dailey, the system rewards consistent excellence throughout the year. The top player will be honored as APGA Tour Player of the Year, earning a $25,000 bonus. This event at TPC Las Vegas promises high-level competition and an important step toward that recognition.
ABOUT THE APGA TOUR:
The APGA Tour was established in 2010 as a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring an inclusive future through the game of golf. The APGA Tour Board of Directors works to accomplish this by hosting and operating professional golf tournaments, player development programs, mentoring programs and by introducing the game to inner city young people. In addition to conducting 18 tournaments awarding over $1 million in prize and bonus money in 2024, the APGA has organized a Player Development Program to aid golfers as they work to chase their goals in professional golf.
