The African American Golf Expo & Forum, founded in 2021, had become a vital platform uniting golfers, small businesses, and industry leaders. To continue serving its community-driven mission, it has launched a GoFundMe campaign, created by founder James Beatty’s call for broad support: “I want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to support the EXPO and to continue to demonstrate that the EXPO is addressing a need in our community. It is more about the grassroots support as donations of all amounts are accepted.”

Over five years, the expo has impacted around 6,000 attendees in multiple cities, generating about $2.5 million in economic activity. Its programs include youth and adult clinics, scholarship funds, exhibitor showcases, and partnerships like the HBCU Golf Consortium and “Make Golf Your Thing” grants.
Looking ahead, the next African American Golf Expo & Forum will take place January 21–24, 2026, in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center, co-located with the PGA Show. This timing offers exhibitors exceptional exposure to major industry professionals while continuing the expo’s mission of inclusion and community uplift.
