To continue their collaboration with Aramco, the Women of Color Golf (WOCG) and Girls on the Green Tee (GOTGT) organizations have been selected to deliver Women’s Beginner Business Golf Clinics to Aramco female employees in a “pilot” program, May 12 – May 15 at the Aramco corporate headquarters in Houston, Texas.  The clinics are part of Aramco’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion initiative to increase team building and establish cross-cultural relationships.

“In October 2021, the Girls on the Green Tee (GOTGT) Charity received the Aramco Team Series award as a “Driving Force in Diversity,” says Clemmie Perry.  “This award was created by Aramco to celebrate organizations around the globe that champion diversity, equity and inclusion in their communities.” Being awarded the project, Clemmie says “It is important because it empowers and embraces the opportunity for women and girls, around the world to learn and play golf.”

Based in Tampa, Fla., WOCG and GOTGT encourage women, girls, and communities of color to learn and play recreational golf. The Women’s Beginner Business Golf Clinics collaboration with Aramco is in partnership with Hermann Park Golf Course General Manager Maulana Dotch, Women of Color Golf, Girls on the Green Tee Founder and Executive Director Clemmie Perry, and WOCG and GOTGT Golf Operations Director, Lynne Morgan.

Aramco is Saudi Arabia‘s official oil company and ranks as the world’s largest oil producer. It is the world’s most profitable company, recently eclipsing even tech giants such as Apple (AAPL) and Alphabet’s Google (GOOGL).
