Congratulations are in order for Attorney Raymond Grier. The Erial, NJ resident is selected for induction into the prestigious South Carolina State University Athletic Hall of Fame. This honor is bestowed upon outstanding individuals who were nominated by their peers to the Athletic Hall of Fame Steering Committee.
A personal letter of notification from the University’s Department of Intercollegiate Athletics expressed, “We cannot think of anyone more deserving than you and your fellow inductees,” signed by Stacy L, Danley, Director of Athletics and Carla B. Mitchell, Athletic Hall of Fame Chairperson.
Grier is also listed among the University’s Top 50 All-Time Men’s Golf Team, Presented by The Home Depot, as selected by fans, media representatives, sports information professionals, and others, with his notable accomplishment at South Carolina State University: 1974 MEAC Championship medalist; two-time MEAC All-Tournament (1972, 1974).
Grier is a Howard University School of Law graduate, receiving his degree in May 1982 (Honors).
