Black Girls Golf is partnering with Spark Golf to bring another exciting year of league play to Atlanta and Houston. This initiative provides a welcoming environment for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy the game while building a sense of community.
Registration is simple and can be completed through the Spark Golf app. Once downloaded, participants can search for Black Girls Golf leagues in Atlanta and Houston to sign up. Spark Golf organizes 9-hole, social golf leagues that emphasize fun and friendly competition. The Spark app is the central hub for players, allowing them to connect with others, register for rounds, keep score, and track their handicaps and stats.
Spark Golf partners with public courses across the U.S. and Canada to host league play. If there is no Spark Golf league in your area, recommendations can be sent to help@spark.golf. League rounds take place weekly on designated weekday evenings, with seasons beginning between March and May and running through August to November, depending on local sunset times. Players have the flexibility to participate in as many or as few league rounds as they prefer, though each round must be played at the scheduled league time.
League play remains consistent with the same day and time each week, and Spark provides reminders about registration deadlines. The structure promotes fast-paced and enjoyable rounds, with relaxed rules to encourage a casual atmosphere.
The 2025 season includes league play at John A. White Golf Course in Atlanta starting March 11, College Park in Atlanta beginning March 10, and Hermann Park in Houston launching on April 15.
Spark Golf leagues are open to everyone, regardless of age or skill level. Whether players are seasoned golfers or just starting out, the leagues offer an opportunity to have fun, connect with others, and enjoy the game. More details can be found at Spark Golf’s website HERE.
