Over the previous year, the Black Heritage Golf Challenge – Junior Golf Tour has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to nurturing youthful talent, primarily hailing from historically underserved communities. The organization’s primary focus has been on furnishing these emerging talents with the means to excel within the realm of golf. A significant highlight for these aspiring players was the opportunity to engage in rounds of golf at some of the most esteemed courses in the DMV region.
Sanders Milligan, Founder & President, Black Heritage Tour Golf Challenge has made an eagerly awaited announcement outlining plans for a grand culminating event to commemorate the remarkable accomplishments of these gifted young golfers. This distinctive Championship round of golf has been designed to bring together all victors from the tour stops. Beyond its function as a showcase for the exceptional prowess exhibited by 65 deserving junior golfers, this event will also serve as a platform for fostering connections, mentorship opportunities, and well-deserved recognition. The chosen venue for this occasion is the National Golf Club located in Ft. Washington, Maryland. The date set for this momentous gathering is Sunday, September 10, 2023, commencing at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
