Cedric the Entertainer held his 12th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic, on Monday, August 11th at The Saticoy Club in Somis, California. The annual golf tournament was kicked off with a celebration the night prior with a VIP Pairing Party Presented by Lexus at the hip Tarantula Hill Brewing Company in Thousand Oaks, CA. The annual Celebrity-Amateur golf tournament raises funds and benefits non-profit organizations, with this year’s tournament benefiting the Kyles Family Foundation which supports the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo and the Rosetta Boyce Kyles Health Pavilion at St. Mary’s Hospital. The primary mission of Cedric the Entertainer’s Celebrity Golf Classic is to support local non-profit charities who provide invaluable services and programs aiding youth and their families. Cedric is committed to using his standing as one of the premier entertainers in the world to change the lives of countless young people nationwide.
The tournament kicked off with celebrities from the entertainment and sports world teeing off for a great cause. Players joining Cedric included Anthony Anderson, Don Cheadle, D.L. Hughley, Byron Scott, David Justice, Stephen Bishop, Marcus Allen, Debbe Dunning, Julius Erving, Willie Buchanan, Gary Sheffield, Pete Shaw, Willie Gault, Michael Irby, and many more hitting the golf course.
