Fort Worth, Texas — The Trilogy of Her Story: Black Women Trailblazers of Fort Worth proudly announces the opening of its inaugural exhibition at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, celebrating the legacies of three extraordinary African American women who helped shape Fort Worth’s cultural, educational, and spiritual heritage: Coach Gladys Lee, Publisher Beatrice Elizabeth Pringle, and Gospel Legend Mary Francine Reese Morrison.

Curated by Kyev P. Tatum, Sr., Pastor of New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church and President of the Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas, this landmark exhibition honors the impact of Black women whose contributions have often gone unrecognized. From the athletic fields to the gospel stage, and the helm of a national magazine, these women paved the way for generations to come.
“We believe this exhibition will not only inspire but help restore the rightful place of Black women in Fort Worth’s historical narrative,” said Pastor Tatum. “Their stories are powerful, transformative, and long overdue for recognition.”
The organizers gratefully acknowledge the following partners and contributors for their generous support in bringing this historic project to life:
