Coach Gladys Lee, an esteemed LPGA Golf Coach and Teaching Professional, recently conducted a highly anticipated Women’s Golf Clinic during the Easter Weekend. The “egg-citing”event took place on April 8, 2023, at the prestigious Grand Oaks Golf Course located at 3502 Country Club Dr, Grand Prairie, TX. The ladies in attendance eagerly practiced the fundamental skills of the game under Coach Lee’s expert guidance.
During the clinic, Coach Lee emphasized the importance of studying the First Par books on Putting and carefully evaluating the placement of hands on the clubs. She encouraged the participants to pay close attention to their stroking technique to ensure better solid contact with the “sweet spot” on the face of the putter. In a follow-up message to the participants, Coach Lee asked a crucial question, “Are you holding the finish or are you guilty of flicking the wrist and RECOIL?”
Coach Lee’s invaluable advice included checking one’s TEMPO to achieve a smooth transition from backswing to contact, through the ball, and a solid hold for at least 2 seconds. Her wealth of knowledge and experience provided the participants with invaluable insights to enhance their golfing skills.
