Destany Nicole Hall has been appointed Executive Director of the Women In Golf Foundation, marking a new chapter for the long-standing organization committed to empowering women and girls through golf. At just 26 years old, Hall brings not only youthful energy but also a deep, lifelong passion for the game, along with a strong background in golf operations, outreach, and leadership.

Born and raised in Texas, Hall’s connection to golf began early. Growing up on hole seven of Lantana Golf Club in Lantana, Texas, she picked up her first club at the age of eight. Her early exposure to the sport led to competitive high school golf at John H. Guyer High School in Denton, followed by a four-year golf scholarship at Texas Southern University. There, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television, and Film Communications with a minor in Journalism. It was during these formative years that Hall not only honed her golf skills but also developed a deep appreciation for storytelling and community engagement—skills she brings into her leadership role today.

Hall’s professional journey is marked by a series of progressive and impactful roles. She began with an internship on the PGA of America’s Career Services Team, a position that allowed her to explore the administrative and developmental side of the golf industry. She later served as an Assistant Golf Professional under Maulana Dotch at Hermann Park Golf Course, followed by her selection as a PGA WORKS Fellow with the Georgia PGA Section in Atlanta. Her work there further deepened her understanding of outreach, diversity, and program management within the sport.

LaJean Gould, founder, Women in Golf Foundation says, “We are so excited to have Destany Hall take on this new role with the Women In Golf Foundation. She has been with us as Tournament Manger for almost 2 years. She is an alumni of Texas Southern, competed in the National Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship and brings a strong set of skills and experience.  She understands and most of all, believes in our mission to grow the game for youth and women. She is a perfect role model for the audience we serve.”

Most recently, Hall holds the role of Foundation and Outreach Manager for the Texas Golf Association. Simultaneously, she served as the Tournaments and Programs Manager for the Women In Golf Foundation—a role she has held for the past two years and which prepared her to take the next step in her career.

The Women In Golf Foundation was established over 30 years ago with the mission of promoting the inclusion, development, and advancement of women and girls in the game of golf. Founded by LaJean Gould, the foundation has hosted numerous programs and events to support junior girls, college athletes, and women pursuing careers in the golf industry. The foundation is widely respected for its long-standing Junior Girls Golf Development Programs, collegiate golf showcases, and educational outreach efforts that provide tools for growth both on and off the course.

Hall now steps into the role of Executive Director with a clear vision and bold aspirations. “It’s an incredible honor to continue the legacy of such an impactful organization,” she says. “I’m inspired by the work the Women In Golf Foundation has done over the past 30 years and excited to help guide its growth into the future.”

Looking ahead, Hall is focused on expanding the foundation’s reach while staying grounded in its core mission. “As Executive Director, my goal is to continue broadening the Women In Golf Foundation’s reach by making the game more accessible to women and girls—helping them learn, play, and grow through golf,” she explains. Her strategy includes strengthening the foundation’s footprint in both Georgia and Texas and then expanding into additional states to create a nationwide network of support, education, and opportunity.

“I envision a future where our programs, events, and resources reach communities nationwide, ensuring every girl has the opportunity to benefit from all that our foundation has to offer,” Hall adds. “Along the way, I hope to build strong partnerships and elevate our programming to continue creating clear pathways for junior golf development, competitive play on professional tours, and meaningful careers within the golf industry.”

With Destany Nicole Hall at the helm, the Women In Golf Foundation is well-positioned to embrace its next era of impact, inspiration, and inclusivity. Her journey—rooted in a lifetime love of golf—is just beginning a powerful new chapter.
