The East Palo Alto T-Ball Pitching Machine Legacy Makers Banquet will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Las Vegas Ball Park, 1650 South Pavilion Center Drive, Las Vegas, NV. A baseball clinic will be held the day prior, on February 22.
The dinner program began in 2018 and is held as one of the organization’s premier annual fundraiser events. The evening benefits area young people who live in the underprivileged communities of East Palo Alto and the Belle Haven area of Menlo Park, CA., as well as Las Vegas. The program not only teaches the young people to play ball and the sports ethics, it also teaches the importance of education and personal ethics.
In addition to serving the less fortunate, the annual banquet honors and recognizes T-Ball supporters and alumni. Past honorees have included Jimmie Ray Kennon, who has been with the program since the beginning and has contributed greatly in education, along with Anthony Manor, Jerry Lindsey, Don Logan and Gary Petersmeyer, among others. The year 2020 honorees are Shirley Mitchell Neal, operations, Nvidia, Reyna Blasko, Division Manager, Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits, Dave Blasko, Director, Department of Animal Care, The Mirage and Kenneth W. Harris, Sr., Real Estate Broker/Owner.
