A Chicago native, Erika Shavers is the Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant Program Director for The First Tee of Greater Chicago, an international junior golf program. She kept herself keenly engaged with youth at Kemper Lakes Golf Club during the 2018 KPMG Women’s Championship.
Shavers also serves as the high school golf coach at South Shore International College Preparatory High School, where her squad topped the division in 2013 and won three of their four matches in 2016. Her Facebook page showcases a plethora of her interests and golf activity. In 2012, Erika founded her own women’s golf league, Ladies on the Green, and created the Swing Easy Golf program. She enjoys working with adults and juniors, bringing joy to others through the game of golf.
