Golfers are ready to travel! As coronavirus vaccinations make their way around the world there is good news from Etihad Airways. the airline has been very been busy behind the scenes, doing a tremendous job to make sure that passengers are up to date with everything that’s been going on.
As the second flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates continues to navigate the impacts of COVID-19, they continue to look to the future with a renewed energy; optimistic that the global vaccine rollout will help all things to soon return to some normality.
100% of Etihad’s Staff on board have been vaccinated
“Today we’re excited to announce that we’re the first airline in the world to vaccinate all pilots and cabin crew onboard against COVID-19, said a recent press announcement from the company.
“We’ve proactively made the vaccine available to all of our employees, to help combat COVID-19 and make our guests feel confident and reassured when they fly.”
“Not only are we the only airline to make COVID-19 testing mandatory before every flight, we’re now the only one with 100% vaccinated crew on board too.”
This action by Etihad shows their commitment to safety while working hard to keep the world connected while global restrictions are enforced across their travel network. The airline aims to fly to up to 60 destinations this spring, with a new twice weekly service to Qatar starting on 18 February.
Wellness gets the thumbs up
Etihad officials say they have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback that has been received about Etihad Wellness; their comprehensive safety and wellbeing programe. From take-off to touchdown, guests feel more comfortable at every step of their journey when they travel with Etihad Airways.
The wellness program runs the gamut, from additional deep cleaning and complimentary wellness kits, to a dedicated team of Wellness Ambassadors available 24/7, Etihad is doing everything they can to make traveling with the airline as safe and comfortable as possible.
