The Moore-Myers Children’s Fund (MMCF) will be holding the Make A Difference Day event, a 9-hole golf outing at the par-3 golf course at the University of North Florida Golf Complex on December 10, 2022 to raise awareness of the Mission of the organization and to further provide children with practical golf and social experiences. Professional Dan Olsen, General Manager of the renovated UNF Golf Complex, course, is hosting the event. Thirty-six entrants will play in foursomes, including one child, a MMCF Eagle, in each group.
Children will have the opportunity to build social skills and golf etiquette as well as compete.
Participants will engage in public speaking and story-telling exercises such as our “Circle of Confidence” in which children work on telling their own stories, demonstrating they are their own personal expert and personal advocate. The first hole-in-one at the ninth hole will win a Mercedes-Benz, compliments of the Fields Auto Group.

Of note, Dr. Justine Redding, President of the MMCF, and Mr. Duke Butler III, former PGA Tour player and member of the Tour’s executive staff, will be in attendance.
