Pioneer Golf Tournament 2.0 Annual Celebration

Consistency is a crucial factor in achieving success, regardless of the field. The same holds true for hosting a successful golf tournament. The late Jessie Brooks, co-sponsor of the Pioneer Golf Tournament for over 17-years, knew about that. He and his buddy Ron Fuller kept the tournament a cherished, fun experience, for hundreds of golfers over those many years, while benefiting the Historic Clearview Golf Course in East Canton, Ohio.

 

Sadly, Jessie passed away on March 20, 2023, leaving a void in the hearts of many who knew him. Despite this loss, it’s heartening to know that the Pioneer Golf Tournament will continue as Pioneer Golf Tournament 2.0, thanks to Michael A. Walker-Jones, the organizer who is committed to preserving the nearly same logistics set in place by Jessie. 

 

I encourage all golf enthusiasts to consider registering for the tournament, which will be held from June 30 to July 2. It promises to be an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.  Jessie’s smiling face may not be there to greet you, but his spirit and legacy will live on through the tournament he helped create.
