Figueroa Norberto, aka “Figgy,” achieved a remarkable feat at Sprain Lake golf course. Using a TaylorMade 8 iron on a 156-yard par 3 hole and a Titleist PRO V ball, he made a hole-in-one at the 9th hole. This exceptional shot earned Figgy a well-deserved reward of $1,240.
The monetary incentive was established through the contributions of the golfing group, who collected approximately $400 each year as part of their East Coast Golf Club Tuesday/Thursday Vanny Group since 2021. The excitement was amplified as no one had achieved a hole-in-one in the past three years, making Figgy’s accomplishment even more special.
The group celebrated the occasion, with Figgy generously treating them to drinks (of course!) Sprain Lake Golf Course, situated in Yonkers, New York, is renowned for its challenging layout, featuring small greens, undulating terrain, and a variety of difficult holes.
