by AAGD NEWSWIRE

Diversity & Inclusion is a core value of the Georgia PGA Foundation, and the organization is committed to making sure that people of all backgrounds have access to and feel authentically welcome in the game and business of golf.

The Georgia PGA Foundation is starting the Georgia PGA WORKS Mentorship Program. This structured and flexible program offers students from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to develop meaningful professional and personal relationships with PGA Professionals and executives in the golf industry.

For an entire academic semester, high school and college students in the Atlanta Metropolitan area will be paired with an individual working in the golf industry that is dedicated to building their mentee’s personal growth and professional career.

Additional advantages to this program include:

  1. Gain hands-on work experience through shadowing opportunities.
  2. Expand your network at Georgia PGA Section and Foundation events.
  3. Choose a flexible schedule that fits around your academic and athletic agenda
