Ginger Howard shot 4-under-par 68 on Friday, April 9 to win the Mackie Construction Ladies Professional Championship in Abilene, TX on the 6,497 yds., par 72, Abilene Country Club’s South Course.
Howard, a 27-year-old Bradenton, Florida resident, finished the four-day tournament with a 282. She picked up 500 points and $11,000 for winning the opening event on the Women’s All Pro Tour. The total purse: $58,000.
On Instagram, Howard shared her happiness saying, “ALL GLORY TO GOD. Thank you to the WAPT Tour and Abilene Country Club for putting on such a great event for us. Thanks all for the support.”
