Come join a team that works to champion and advance the game that we all love. We are looking for a Golf Course Solutions Sales Manager to help the Green Section deliver our products and services to more golf facilities around the country.

We offer consulting services, technology platforms, and educational products that are based on research, science, and innovation. With support from numerous internal resources, this role focuses on engaging with customers, identifying their needs, and selling our growing suite of products and services to facilities and associations.

What you can expect:

• Present, promote and sell USGA Green Section products and services including the USGA Course Consulting Service, USGA GPS Service and USGA Facility App to new and existing customers by leveraging the current marketing plan and value propositions

• Represent the USGA and manage positive relationships as the primary point of contact for prospective customers

• Identify prospective customers for USGA Green Section products and services for facilities based on segments, profiles, and needs

• Put together sales plans and lead sales efforts in coordination with the USGA marketing team, product managers, consulting agronomists, and customer success staff

• Manage the customer database and use a targeted approach to increase sales conversion rates

• Track the sales process with customers and update the sales dashboard

• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers to determine and recommend the best products and services to fit their needs

• Grow a successful sell-in strategy to be deployed at industry trade shows and field events

• Grow a broad advocacy program for our existing customers to influence potential customers to seek our product and services What you bring to the USGA:

• A minimum of a BS/BA Degree or related experience in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with golf course operations and/or maintenance practices

 • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business relationships

• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

• Excellent selling, communication and organization skills

• Ability to learn new products and services in detail and to discuss technical golf products and their benefits with new and existing customers

• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs

• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge and ability to use analytics platforms

• Ability to work independently and connect with golf facility managers
