The 2nd Annual Golf4TheV Charity Classic was a great success. A full field of golfers were treated to pristine conditions on Anglebrook Golf Course in Westchester County, New York. Anglebrook holds the distinction of being the final course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
Long Drive Professional Scott Kalamar wowed golfers on the 10th hole with 400-yard drives and trick shots. Honoree Herman Bulls held dinner guests captive as he paid tribute to his wife, Iris, who succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2021. Proceeds from the Classic go to the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund of the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
“I’m so grateful for the sponsors, donors, volunteers and golfers who generously give so that we can continue the fight to achieve victory over cancer,” said Larry D Woodard the tournament founder and host.
