Should you ever get the chance to tee it up with Michael Jordan, be prepared to be ‘talked to death,’ says North Carolina men’s basketball coach Roy Williams. A longtime coach Williams knows a thing or two about being competitive, he also knows a bit about Jordan, who celebrated his 58th birthday on Wednesday. Williams was Assistant Coach when the Brooklyn-born Jordan was on the college team from 1981-84.

With a passion for golf, Jordan has played with a vast number of celebrities. This past May Jordan and Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Tom Brady teamed up, and won, the 2006 Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational, a tournament benefiting charity that Jordan hosted from 2001-2014.
At Pinehurst Resort Williams appeared in a video sharing details about Jordan’s game on the golf course versus his skills on the basketball court. When asked the question: What's a round of golf like with Michael? Williams relays more about the enormous amount of talking Jordan does on the course rather than his actual golfing skills.
“It’s just competitive and the only thing he ever did that was better than playing basketball was talking. And so you better be on his team or he’s going to talk you to death. He can hit it a long way, got a great touch, he hits it a long way sideways every now and then, but you better be able to stand up for the lip because he’s going to talk you to death,” Williams says in the video.
Bottom line, try to block out all the 'noise' and try to just focus when playing with Jordan.
