Technology Advocate, Ed Smith has decades of experience in vintage video game and personal computer design. The engineer and strategic alliance professional graduated from Pace University in New York and is a member of the APF Electronics engineering team that designed the MP1000 video game and The Imagination Machine personal computer.

Smith, an African American who grew up in the slums of Brownsville, Brooklyn (MY) became one of the first of his race to work in the design of video games and personal computers in the 1970s. He launched his company Imagine That LLC in 2022 and resides in Kissimmee, Florida. Ed shares his career journey in the inspirational story entitled, “Imagine That!
