All ladies are invited to celebrate Women’s Golf Day and join Charlene Williams and her esteemed friend, Mrs. Susan Bond, in their inaugural golf clinic. Susan, who has a deep passion for introducing veteran women to golf, approached Charlene a few months ago with her desire to assist these women. This collaboration led to the establishment of the “Women’s Golf Bootcamp Clinic.” The first clinic will be launched during Women’s Golf Day week, May 28 – June 4, 2024.
“This clinic is a unique opportunity to learn from top LPGA Professional Susan Bond and to be part of a historic event tailored for veteran and active military women, accommodating both adaptive and non-adaptive needs, says Charlene Williams, President of C.T. Williams VETS Adaptive Golf & Beyond LLC.
After 26 years in the military, Charlene found a therapeutic outlet in adaptive golf, which profoundly changed her life. She believes golf has the potential to positively impact many others as well. As a Women’s Golf Day Ambassador, she is excited to support and celebrate women in golf and invites others to join her on this journey.
Sessions are limited to 8 students and kick-off on Friday, May 31 from 4:00pm-6:00pm with a Welcome Pitching and Putting Reception Meet and Greet at the Champions Club, 3400 SE Summerfield Way, Stuart, Florida 34997. On Saturday, June 1 at 9:00am participants enjoy practice range time, recap Q&A, followed by lunch, more instruction, and an exciting on-course scramble.
