Essential Duties And Responsibilities

(Other duties may be assigned)

  • Manages all aspects of the Golf Club operations including its activities and the relationships between the members, guests, employees, and community.
  • Oversee all aspects of the Golf Club, including the golf pro shop, tennis, pool services, food and beverage, and events to ensure high standards and total customer satisfaction.
  • Developing and managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial statements to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Secures and protects all Golf Club assets including facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of club facilities, clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis court, and other amenities.
  • Schedule and chair regular staff meetings focused on customers, operations, revenue growth, cost containment, and continuous improvement.
  • Organizing and coordinating community engagement events, workshops, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Attend monthly department meetings and any invited/scheduled management meetings.
  • Ensures that the Golf Club is providing healthy and high-quality playing conditions for guests of the property.
  • Ensure the development of the management team by providing training and development opportunities.
  • Must demonstrate a working knowledge of all policies and procedures.
  • Carry out responsibilities by the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for the overall spiritual leadership of the Golf Club.
  • Ensure that staff integrate a spiritual foundation into their meetings and daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education And/Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ country club management, hospitality, business administration or related.
  • Skilled in customer service, operations management, and strategic planning.

Other Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of budgeting and expense management.
  • Knowledge of local, federal, and state laws and regulations affecting management of country club operations.
  • Must have a strong business aptitude and passion for the golf business.

  • Faithfully give at least 10% of their income to the ministry of OCBF.
  • Faithfully serve in one of the ministries of the church in a volunteer capacity.
  • Agree to read and function under the guidelines and authority of the Church Constitution and By-Laws.
