Things are on a roll for Masters Week, and fans couldn’t be happier.
Wednesday, the Augusta National Women’s Amateur teed off at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Ga., where the first 36 holes will be played. The field will be cut to the low 30 scorers for the final round Saturday at nearby Augusta National.
The women’s tournament precedes the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on Sunday, right before the excitement of the 85th Masters.
Here is the schedule:
March 31-April 1: First two rounds of Augusta National Women’s Amateur at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Ga.
April 2: Practice round at Augusta National for low 30 scorers through 36 holes of Augusta National Women’s Amateur
April 3: Low 30 scorers through 36 holes of Augusta National Women’s Amateur advance to final round at Augusta National
April 4: Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals
April 5-7: Masters practice rounds (Par 3 Contest, traditionally held on the Wednesday of Masters week, has been canceled because of COVID-19 concerns), with limited attendance because of the pandemic
April 8-11: 85th Masters Tournament
