(February 23, 2024) Advocates Pro Golf Association CEO Keith Houlemard announces that Montrele Wells has officially joined the team as the new Player Performance Director. In his statement, Houlemard expressed excitement about the addition, highlighting Wells’ pivotal role in enhancing player performance and overall experience within the organization.
“He will be working closely with the APGA leadership, staff, and board members with focus on enhancing the performance and experience of our players,” Houlemard stated.
Montrele will have three primary responsibilities. The first is player performance which includes leading our existing Elite Player Development Program with focus on complete player performance growth. Secondly, Montrele will be the player representative of the APGA to the players and of the players to the APGA relative to Golf Performance. Lastly, he will focus on ensuring the talent pipeline into the APGA Tour is strong.

The Jacksonville, Florida, resident is has experience as a professional golfer/caddie/instructor Team @oncoregolf and owns Montrele Wells Golf LLC. In 2023, he was named the winner of the APGA Adrian Stills Award presented by @Cisco.
