Throngs of visitors stopped by the African American Golfer’s Digest exhibit booth #2005 during the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) 36th Annual Conference and Exposition, held September 16-20, 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), 285 Andrew Young International Drive, Atlanta, GA 30313. The gathering is one of the largest professional development and job search events in the country.
The attendees that dropped by learned how to get involved in golf (if they don’t already play) and received a cache of golf literature along with free magazine copies, free annual digital subscriptions and a chance to try their skill at winning prizes at the exciting onsite Putting Contest. Those who already play the sport were informed of upcoming golf outings and exotic golfing excursions hosted by the publication and other organizations.
Established in 1970, the NBMBAA is dedicated to developing partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual and economic wealth in the black community through its five channels of engagement; education, career, leadership, entrepreneurship, and lifestyle.
