The NeuraPutt is the perfect indoor/outdoor training aid to help golfers of all skill levels practice their putting. Patented by pro golfer Alan Johnson and launched at the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show, the groundbreaking design is what sets this training aid apart from others.
The aim and pace unit comes with three sets of foam bumpers and an adjustable cup for adaptive training. Each foam bumper is a different size, with the thinnest (orange) making for the widest entry area to the cup. The medium-sized bumper (green) makes the opening slightly smaller, and the thickest bumper (blue) makes for the smallest entry area to the cup. So, there you have it, target practice with three variables, forcing you to adjust your aim to get the ball into the cup.
The NeuraPutt plastic cup is a regulation size for a golf hole. Two versions of the cup are included: one for indoor and one for outdoor. For the indoor version, Velcro is used to help it adhere to the 6-foot or 12-foot mat. For the outdoor cup, it fits snugly over an actual golf hole with attached plastic spikes to help it stay in place.
The NeuraPutt is “The epitome of target practice” says Golf Digest, and it has six different setup options using the “auto-return band” accessories. So, there is little downtime in not having to walk to pick up your putt.
What’s also great about the NeuraPutt is that the unit includes a calibration card to assist you with tracking where each putt finishes. This is extremely useful in assisting you in determining any inaccuracy with your putts, such as the majority of your misses might strike the front-left bumper, which could indicate a slight pulling motion or not playing enough break on a right-to-left putt.
