Farmingdale, NY – October 20, 2014 – Christian Cultural Center hosted its 8th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic at Colonial Springs Golf Club in Farmingdale, N.Y., to raise funds for people in need.
This year the proceeds will be donated to Long Island Cares, a food bank founded by late singer and songwriter Harry Chapin, which serves 590 agencies across Long Island.

Participants enjoyed a full round of golf followed by dinner and an awards ceremony emceed by Arise News Anchor Julian Phillips. Those in attendance included Richard Caster, former New York Jet; Gary Anthony Ramsey, Director of Arise News; Debert Cook, Founder of African American Golfer’s Digest and others.
During the program, Paule Pachter, Long Island Cares CEO, thanked the organizers for partnering with them by donating funds to assist the needy. They will receive $10,000 to continue their great work of providing nutritional food and support services to those less fortunate.

Though only four-years old, young Xavier began watching, his “papi” as he calls him, playing golf in the garage at their home, and the practice range. And the love the game began.
Outside of golf Xavier, like most youngsters his age, enjoys playing electronic games, especially Wii sports golf, and wrestling with his papi!
Collegiate golfer Bria’ Sanders has been rewarded for her consistency and solid performances by being ranked in Golfstat’s Top 50 NAIA Women’s Golfers. Sanders is accompanied in the listing by Ashley Madden . In order to be eligible for this ranking, the golfers needed to have competed in a minimum of eight rounds of golf throughout the fall season.
