8:46
To mark the solemn, dreadful amount of time, at this week’s PGA Tour and Korn Ferry Tour events the 8:46 tee time will be set aside in honor of the late George Floyd, officials said. Instead of player teeing up at 8:46, officials say that three horn blasts will begin one-minute of silence.
After three months of suspended play due to the coronavirus pandemic, the PGA and Korn Ferry tours return to competition this week. The PGA Tour will play the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas (tee times), and the developmental KFT will play the Korn Ferry Challenge at TPC Sawgrass’ Dye’s Valley Course in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. (tee times).
