The long drive completion showcased dozens of 2016 Long Driver Players and 33-year old Allen represented the USA brilliantly. Allen’s confidence was bold and his focus tight, resulting in three shot rounds that reached 483 yards. Allen states on his Facebook page, “Feels great to have my second win of the season. I am blessed beyond to be able to do what I love.”
The LDET Championship is a part of the European Tour and it was staged at the Golf Club Praha (www.gcp.cz). Located just 15 minutes from Prague city Center, the course was founded in 1926 and as amongst the oldest golf clubs in the Czech Republic. Situated in the Prague 5 district, on the heights above the city, the 3,012 yard, 9-hole course is a real challenge primarily due to the courses hilly terrain.
While he enjoyed the pristine weather, morning sunrises and evening sunsets, Allen’s mind and body had to be in sync while adjusting his body to a 6-hour time difference during his stay in Europe; Prague is 6-hours ahead of his North Carolina GMT-5 time zone

Allen is a 2015 Volvik Long Drivers European Tour Champion. He serves as a Boys and Girls Club Ambassador of Golf, is a Former Guinness World Record Holder for Golf Ball Speed and was 2012 Team USA Long Drive Captain.
