Sunday’s final-round scores and notes for the PGA TOUR’s 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic – hosted at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan.
Rocket Mortgage Classic champion Cam Davis (18-under-par 270; 68-68-67-67 – 270), playoff runners-up Troy Merritt and Joaquin Niemann (18-under 270), Alex Noren (T4; 17-under 271), Bubba Watson (T6; 16-under 272), sponsor exemption and Flint, Mich. native Willie Mack III (4-under 284) and 45-time PGA TOUR champion and World Golf Hall of Famer Phil Mickelson (3-under 285).
In capturing his first PGA TOUR victory in his 71st PGA TOUR start via a five-hole playoff (holes 18, 15, 16, 14 and 15 consecutively), Davis earned $1,350,000 (from a $7.5 million purse) and 500 FedExCup points. The 26-year-old Australian is projected to move to No. 67 in the Official World Golf Ranking and No. 34 in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup standings.

Davis parred the first three playoff holes, made birdie on the fourth hole and a par the fifth hole while Merritt made bogey. Niemann was eliminated after the first playoff hole with a bogey.
