Golf bags hanging off of the back of a scooter is now a little less eccentric, and more the norm— especially since COVID-19 has put such a long lockdown on two-person cart sharing. Through the partnership, Troon-affiliated facilities will benefit from preferred pricing on the Phat Golf Scooters.
This growing movement of single riders on golf scooters will also benefit courses with what is believed to be quicker rounds of play, as single players move more quickly from tee-to-tee than twosomes or foursomes. Single-rider s also disturb the grounds less when they play, helping keep down maintenance costs which course supervisors and management absolutely are thrilled about.
