On a mission to to provide support and mentoring for young minority women who pursue a professional career in golf, Sisters Across America was formed in In 2006 by a group of Central Florida women golfers who had all relocated from various regions of the country. The women decided to informally meet to develop a plan for a quality invitational golf tournament in their region. Today, Sisters Across America, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation based in Orlando, Fla., comprised of golfers and non-golfers who are committed to carrying out the mission, vision and goals of the corporation.
On Sunday, June 27, 2021 the corporation will host a conference call to discuss its Annual Ladies Golf Invitational. The 4-day event is being held October 21-24, 2021 at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida (near Daytona Beach/Jacksonville area).
Designed as a multi-day competitive ladies golf tournament that brings women from all over the United States together to play golf in support of its mission, the event offers an excellent opportunity to enjoy a much-needed vacation, featuring rounds of golf on exceptional courses, pleasant weather, delicious food, and most importantly, camaraderie with friends.
The extremely popular annual event includes two rounds of tournament golf (Ocean Course & Conservatory Course*), hospitality events, award ceremony, and more, and has very limited availability this year. There are registration options for Stay And Play / competitive and non-competitive golf, and Stay (no golf).
The conference call will begin on Sunday, June 27 at 7:00 pm EST and topics for discussion include: the invitational location, pricing, accommodations, along with other details.
