UNDERRATED Golf, the sports and lifestyle brand of Olympic Gold Medalist, four-time NBA champion and two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry, alongside one of the most respected NBA veterans, Dell Curry and technology leader Cisco, announced today that two remarkable UNDERRATED Golf junior players will receive the $25,000 Dell Curry Scholarship Award presented by Cisco due to their outstanding character on and off the green.
A committee of 16 team members from UNDERRATED Golf Tour staff selected one male and female of the 96 junior golfers from the 2023 tour. The award recipients are those who best utilized the resources and experiences presented by UNDERRATED Golf and found unique ways to positively impact the game. The committee selected Maleah Clark of Beaumont, California and Jayden Lizama of Elk Grove, California.
“I am so excited to be able to present this inaugural scholarship to Maleah and Jayden,” said Stephen Curry. “As amazing ambassadors of the UNDERRATED Golf Tour who exemplify what it means to have integrity, character, and perseverance on and off the course, this scholarship is a gesture to the amazing work they have done. Their futures are undeniably bright, and I can’t wait to see where their incredible work ethic leads them. The Dell Curry Scholarship presented by Cisco is an opportunity to encourage Maleah and Jayden, along with the winners that will come after them, to continue to be themselves and show up in spaces that matter.”

Both Maleah and Jayden are a perfect reflection of who an UNDERRATED Golf Tour Member is and are amazing recipients of this year’s award. With a dedication to the sport but also to uplifting others and being kind, considerate, individuals, the UNDERRATED Golf team, undoubtedly knew Maleah and Jayden would be great fits for the award and a great role models to the recipients of future classes of UNDERRATED Golf.
