American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Executive Director Stephen Hamblin is committed to making a difference in the industry. His recent participation at the Inaugural African American Golf EXPO & Forum (AAGE&F) in headlining the August 23 panel session on Junior Player Development provided great insight on the pathways for increasing the talent pool of golf industry business and organizations.
Hamblin’s internship program brings young people into the game of golf and provides them with opportunities in various areas of the industry for great jobs and careers.
The AAGE&F, a 4-day comprehensive event, was announced by Founder James Beatty at the 67th PGA Merchandise Show and successfully held August 21-24, 2021 at the Hilton Marietta Hotel & Conference Center, 500 Powder Springs Street, Marietta, Georgia, 30064.
The full schedule of events and activities offered opportunities for merchandising, sales and networking for individuals and companies that sought to tap into the $1.2 Trillion African American consumer market. This niche market includes over $1 Billion spent on sporting goods and apparel.
