On Monday, August 28, 2023, Tee-Lo Golf held its annual golf tournament at Ventura Country Club in Orlando, FL. The event aimed to help the organization raise funds to sustain its mission as a reliable choice for parents with children interested in a secure organization for golf learning. The mission focused on teaching children the rules and etiquette of golf while fostering essential core values applicable to their lives. The sponsors for the event included Pro-Duffers, Ventura Country Club, Guardian Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and GolfNow.

In January 2018, Tee-Lo Golf, Inc. hosted the grand opening of its new golf training center. The location showcased a 3-hole facility and a practice putting green. The training center has welcomed numerous young individuals, introducing them to the wonderful game of golf. In order to maintain an effective learning environment for local youth at minimal costs, Tee-Lo Golf needed to restore its facilities, which encompassed the acquisition of maintenance equipment. Support garnered from the year’s tournament played a crucial role in carrying forward Tee-Lo’s programming for the 2023 – 2024 year.

ABOUT TEE LO GOLF:

Tee-Lo Golf started in 1999 while Coach Bob Biggers lived in the Tangelo Park Community. He hoped to provide a positive alternative to the youth of today. The organization has succeeded in offering its program and services at “No Cost” to all the youth in the local Florida community. The organization seeks to actively engage young people 7 – 18 years of age and younger with parental supervision. Its primary goal is to help young members become ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ who will aspire to become responsible, self-sufficient, and law-abiding citizens in their respective communities.
