The 16th Annual Chicago Football Classic kicked offat Soldier Field: Morehouse vs. Central State on Saturday, September 21. On Friday September 20 was the Golf outing at Flossmoor Country Club in Flossmoor, IL. The Flossmoor this course was founded in 1899.
Larry Huggins who is one of the co-founders of the football classic was on hand to greet each of the 140 golfers who came from Chicago and out of state, professional athletes, business leaders, various fraternities, sororities and all who want to help raise funds for the historically Black Colleges and Universities. The event brings family and friends, high school students out for a fun filled weekend of golf and college football.
The golf event had various prizes for the win, which included the male/female longest putt, longest drive, hole in one.
