| The Clarke Enhanced History Project was curated by Anthony T. Browder and consists of 16 graphic murals which document 8000 years of African excellence and success. The murals tell the story of the migration of African people from the Nile to the Niger to the Potomac. The Clarke Project also enhances the Egypt on the Potomac Field Trips of Washington, DC. The Clarke Enhanced History Project was made for these times. These times dictate that we must dig up our own history, document what we’ve uncovered and present our discoveries to our community. With the Clarke Enhanced History Project, we have created a sacred space where Ancestors are acknowledged, and knowledge is valued “like gold washed down from the mountains.” Opening activities for the Clarke Enhanced History Project are on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Thurgood Marshall Center ,1816 12th St. NW Washington, DC.
