Almost everyone would agree, education is the key to success in life. In line with this objective, the Tiger Woods Foundation has become part of the global learning community and the TGR Foundation is doing much to support students and educators. In tune with technology, TGR provides digital workshops and holds virtual office hours while providing 40+ interdisciplinary learning resources through TGR EDU.
In these distance learning programs, at no cost, students are able to explore the open online platform that is designed for educators, students and families.
It was in the fall of 2016 that Woods launched his TGR Ventures (pronounced ‘T-G-R’), it was to be an umbrella brand to mark the next chapter in the professional golfer’s life. He grown up playing the game, succeeded in becoming World No. 1, progressed into an astute businessman with a philanthropic legacy. Woods would then take the leap of continuing his Tiger Woods Foundation, renamed TGR Foundation, a Tiger Woods Charity that would rise to serve as an educational nonprofit.
During these challenging times, the TGR Foundation helps support students and families by helping them to navigate the college admissions process. Applications and paperwork can be rigorous and daunting, so the TGR Foundation’s college-access team steps in to assist and share resources, from digital workshops to tips and tools to keep up with admission-related changes.
