Well, seems like all hell broke loose.
The sun was shining and the breeze was light, but the beauty of the day did not translate well for Tiger Woods on Friday afternoon at the PGA Championship. Woods’ errant shots in the second round at TPC Harding Park were awkward and disappointing. Looking at his scorecard, the dismal numbers were also reflected in his mood and facial expressions. The look of frustration was there, according to ESPN, from the very first hole when he missed a 7-footer for birdie to when he holed out at the last for a 2-over 72.
It all started at No. 1: Par 4, 393 Yards
Hitting a perfect drive with a controlled wedge shot from 88 yards, Woods was faced with a 7-footer for birdie. Grabbing his new putter in his golf bag he felt confident perhaps, but the club simply let him down. His putt missed the hole. And certainly a missed opportunity for the athlete.
It was a struggle, mostly with his putter, occasionally with his irons, according to ESPN.com. He did fight his game enough to sneak into the weekend — for a while there on the back nine it looked as though he might be watching the action Saturday and Sunday.

What Happened?
It’s questionable. And golf fans want to know. Especially after such a great start for him in Round 1, Woods’ game took a complete 180 turn yesterday.
For Saturday, the third round, Tiger Woods and Keith Mitchel will tee up at 1 p.m.
